Chardonnay (100%) taken off a steep west facing site located in Long Gully, Yarra Valley. The soils are quite hard, composed of mostly fractured mudstone and clay which produce wines of great power and intensity. A small two barrel production for 2024, fermented in one neutral barrel and the other a Taransaud 3rd fill which compliments the generous fruit sweetness on the palette. After a graceful 15 months on lees with the occasional batonnage in its infancy, this cuvée was racked to tank for an additional settling before bottling in June 2025.
