The Shiraz provides beautiful violet and blue fruit bolstered by soft, plush, destemmed tannin. While the Grenache lifts the aromatics out of the glass, increasing freshness and drinkability.

Viognier (70%), Chardonnay (25%) & Fumé blanc (5%). This cuvée captures the waxy golden nature of Viognier which marries with the tropical character and acid line of the SB and Chardonnay. All organic farming here from first-rate farms in the upper Yarra Valley and the rolling sunburnt hills of the Pyrenees in Western Victoria. A wine more driven by style than a representation of its terroir.

Grenache (70%) & Mencia (30%). Certified organic principles at both sites in the Yarra and Pyrenees. This multi-region blend plays on a few different wine making styles to achieve a fragrant wine with plush fruit weight and lifted acidity - a style that works remarkably well in the fridge. The grenache adds a floral rose, orange oil and hibiscus nose which dances alongside the Mencia and its dark mulberry and blue fruit aromatics. A fleeting 4 month elevage in neutral puncheon and stainless steel preserves the freshness in this drink early style.

Grenache (100%) off the Chapoutier site in Landsborough, Pyrenees. This certified organic fruit was picked for bright acidity and captures the hightoned red strawberry leaf and citrus peel aromatics, preserving freshness and nerve through stainless steel fermentation and elevage.

Chardonnay (100%) taken off a steep west facing site located in Long Gully, Yarra Valley. The soils are quite hard, composed of mostly fractured mudstone and clay which produce wines of great power and intensity. A small two barrel production for 2024, fermented in one neutral barrel and the other a Taransaud 3rd fill which compliments the generous fruit sweetness on the palette. After a graceful 15 months on lees with the occasional batonnage in its infancy, this cuvée was racked to tank for an additional settling before bottling in June 2025.

Syrah (100%) fermented with wholebunch inclusion contributes the spice, aromatic lift and defined structure present in this Northern Rhone inspired cuvee. One week carbonic followed by a foot stomp and then continuous working of the cap (morning and night) for the next week before pressing and laying down in neutral trench puncheon. The black fruit and graphite character common in Syrah of this historic and underrated region is truly special.

I farmed this 5-acre block organically in the '25 growing season. These 30 y.o. MV6 vines are hitting peak age, producing some remarkably balanced fruit. 30% whole cluster was implemented during fermentation, providing well-integrated tannin and a perfumed aromatic profile that sits alongside the sweet fruit character, which has become a trademark for this warmer year in the Yarra.

Grown on the historic soils of Rutherglen, Victoria, this vineyard offers one of the last remaining snapshots of Palomino in Australia. James Busby, the father of the Australian wine industry, is credited with introducing this unique varietal to Australia after collecting cuttings during his 1832 tour of Spain and France. Fermented in a large-format barrel and left peacefully at fermentation height for 8 months, the resulting cuvée is stony and mineral-driven, with built-in layers of gentle oxidation.
