This multi-region blend plays on a few different wine making styles to achieve a fragrant wine with plush fruit weight and lifted acidity - a style that works remarkably well in the fridge. The grenache off the Chapoutier site adds a floral rose and hibiscus nose which dances alongside the Mencia and its dark mulberry and blue fruit aromatics. A fleeting 4 month elevage in neutral puncheon and stainless steel preserves the freshness in this drink early style.
